Sakema Oliver Clark, age 47, of 318 Langston Road, Perry, Georgia passed September 26, 2025, at Emory Medical Center, 1364 Clifton Road, Atlanta, Georgia.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Saint Paul A.M.E. Church, corner of Johnson and Russell Streets, Oglethorpe, Georgia.  Burial will follow at the Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Oglethorpe, Georgia.

​Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. Willie Lewis Felton, Sr., affectionately known as “Boot,” of Montezuma, Macon County, Georgia, transitioned peacefully on September 25, 2025, at the Phoebe Sumter Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel Inc., 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe, Georgia. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Andersonville National Cemetery in Andersonville, Georgia.

Graveside services, including burials, are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. We ask that you take this into consideration when choosing footwear, such a high, thin heels. Please be advised that Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. will not be held responsible for injuries at a grave site because of this.

Willie was born on September 29, 1947, to the late Arlee Cochran Ball and the late Mr. Lewis Felton, and was later raised by his stepfather, the late King Ball. He received his early education in the Macon County public school system and completed his formal studies at the historic D.F. Douglass High School.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1970 with the rank of PFC, Specialist 4. Following his military service, he pursued a career as a self-employed carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Arlee Cochran Ball and Lewis Felton, as well as his siblings, Earnest Cochran, William Felton, Wayne Felton, David Ball, and Eloise Felton.

He leaves to cherish his many memories: his loving wife, Rudine Felton, his children, Angela Dean (Gerald) of Oglethorpe, Georgia; Willie Felton Jr. (Stephanie), Jacksonville, North Carolina, Jennifer Felton–Duncan (Cedric), Andersonville, Georgia, Darrel Felton, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Isaac Felton, Sherita Felton, Keith Felton all of Perry, Georgia, Shon Martin and Searcy Martin both of Montezuma, Georgia. His Sisters-in-law, Agnes Monford, Orlando, Florida, Betty Harris, Montezuma, Georgia, Mary Brown, Orlando, Florida, Lillie Thornton, Montezuma, Georgia, and Elizabeth Sutton of Hartford, Connecticut. His Brother-in-law: Willie James Odom, Montezuma, Georgia, A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends including a devoted cousin, Eddie Cochran (Mose). ​

Whitney Ashley Duncan, age 36, transitioned peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 7, 2025.

Ms. Whitney Ashley Duncan was born on April 19, 1989, in Sumter County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Bennie Cordell Duncan, Jr. and Mrs. Barbara Washington Duncan. Whitney graduated from Macon County High School in the Class of 2007. She furthered her education at Tuskegee University, where she proudly earned her degree in Architectural Engineering. She was gainfully employed by Gresham Smith.

Whitney departed this earthly life to be with Christ. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Bennie C. Duncan Jr. and her paternal grandparents, Bennie C. Duncan Sr. and Carrie Lewis Duncan.

She will be remembered for her radiant smile, her deep compassion for others, and her remarkable talents in creative cooking and baking. Whitney touched the lives of many with her warmth, generosity, and vibrant spirit. Whitney’s joy for life and love for others left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the First Salem Baptist Church, 191 Twin Churches Road, Montezuma, Georgia. Burial will follow at the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Montezuma, Georgia.

​Jermaine Terrell Lee, Jr., affectionately known as “Muff,” of Byron, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the age of 24.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Magnolia Baptist Church, located at 415 Hosie Waters Street, Montezuma, Georgia.

Jermaine was born October 23, 2000, to the parentage of the late Tiffany Lawrence and Jermaine Lee, Sr., Jermaine was a proud 2019 graduate of Perry High School. He went on to earn a degree in Tractor Trailer Operations from South Georgia Technical College. At the time of his passing, he was employed with Daniels Transport, where he was recognized for his strong work ethic and dedication.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Ms. Tiffany Lawrence; his uncle, Amos Lee Jr.; and his sister, Shyianna Lee.

Jermaine will be remembered for his gentle spirit, hardworking nature, and the love he shared with his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted friend, MaKayla Blackshear, and his two beloved children, Kamryn Blackshear and Khari Lee. He is also survived by his father, Jermaine Lee Sr., and stepmother, Dana Lee, both of Byron, Georgia; and his siblings: Yazmine Lee (Chrysneesiya), Aalyiah McGhee, Dee’Wyisha McKenzie, Jermarion Lee, Trevon McKenzie, all of Byron, Georgia; and Jermarion Harpe of Oglethorpe, Georgia. Jermaine is also survived by a loving group of aunts and uncles: Shawndre Porter, Vic Lawrence, Rita Rice, Anthony Grimes, Shawn Lowe, Donte Lawrence, Tre’maine Lowe, all of Atlanta, Georgia; Jennifer Foster and Tiffany Lee of Montezuma, Georgia; Corey Lawrence of New Jersey; Coreal Lee of Byron, Georgia; and Christopher Lee of Vienna, Georgia.

He leaves behind his beloved grandparents, Amos and Bernice Lee, along with a host of extended family and friends who will forever honor and cherish his memory.

Shyianna Tra’maine Lee, affectionately known as “Shy,” of Byron, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the age of 22.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Magnolia Baptist Church, located at 415 Hosie Waters Street, Montezuma, Georgia.

Shyianna was born on August 12, 2003, to the parentage of the late Tiffany Lawrence and Jermaine Lee, Sr. She was a proud 2021 graduate of Peach County High School. She continued her education at the Georgia Military Academy and Central Georgia Technical College, where she proudly earned her degree in Nursing. At the time of her passing, she was employed by Emory Medical Center and Walmart in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Shyianna was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ms. Tiffany Lawrance; her uncle, Amos Lee Jr.; her brother, Jermaine Lee, Jr.; and her companion, Marquedrick Walker.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering determination, and the light she brought into the lives of all who knew and loved her.

She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Royal Walker of Byron, Georgia; her father, Jermaine Lee Sr., and stepmother, Dana Lee, both of Byron, Georgia; and her siblings: Yazmine Lee (Chrysneesiya), Aalyiah McGhee, Dee’Wyisha McKenzie, Jermarion Lee, and Trevon McKenzie, all of Byron, Georgia, and Jermarion Harpe of Oglethorpe, Georgia.
