Maple Lene Butler Woodard, age 77, 615 S 6th Street, Vienna, Georgia, passed on July 17, 2020 at Crisp Regional Medical Center, Cordele, Georgia.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, July 22, 2020, Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive , Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Maple Lene Butler Woodard was born March 1, 1943, to the late Daisy Mae Harris Butler and the late Jack Butler in Montezuma, Georgia. She was preceded in death by one daughter Penny Butler Timmons, and three brothers Memphis Butler, Alzie Butler, Otis Butler. She was educated in the public school system of Macon County. Maple was joined in holy matrimony to Arthur Lee Woodard. She was a care provider and often opened her home to foster children.

She is leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband Arthur Lee Woodard, Vienna, Georgia; a son Leon Butler (Brenda), Oglethorpe, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Lafederia Hicks (Antoni), Warner Robins, Georgia, Bryant Butler, Columbus, Georgia; Leondra Hannor, Montezuma, Georgia, Michael G. Timmons, Columbus, Georgia, Camila Hannor, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Quiana Timmons, Warner Robins, Georgia, Marcus West, Florida City, Florida, Leondra West, Warner Robins, Georgia, Boris Pastor, Warner Robins, Georgia; 27 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Carolyn Winston, age 71, passed on July 14, 2020 at Heart of Georgia Hospice, Warner Robins, Georgia.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 20, 2020 at Colonel Felton Cemetery, 502 South Street, Marshallville, Georgia.

Ms. Carolyn Winston was the daughter of the late Frankie Felton and the late Carl Winston; she was born October 8, 1948 in Marshallville, Macon County, Georgia. Carolyn united with the Saint James C.M.E. Church in Marshallville at a very young age; she served in the music ministry. She was a graduate of D. F. Douglas High School in 1966; following graduating she moved to Yonkers, New York where she stayed for many years. She returned back home and enjoyed the rest of her life; to know her was to love her. She was proud to say good morning to everyone. She had a giving heart and she would give you her last dime. She enjoyed music, singing, and dancing. Carolyn was preceded in death by two children Harvey Winston and Janet Winston. She departed her life at the Heart of Georgia Hospice on Tuesday, July 14, 2020. The Battle is over and the victory his been won.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son Derrick Spencer, Bridgeport, Connecticut; two grandchildren, Amahry and Camdel Spencer; sisters, Brenda W. ​Maeole Glover (Gussie Mae Boone Broner), age 83, passed on July 12, 2020.

Maeole Glover (Gussie Mae Boone Broner) was born December 16, 1936 to the parents of the George Glover Sr. and Edna Willie Black Glover in Ellaville, Georgia. She preceded in death by two sons, Willie Alvins, Elbert Lewis Boone (Pee Wee); a daughter Wanda Fayes; granddaughter Erika Denice Jackson; son-in-law Nathaniel Jackson; three brothers Isaiah Glover, Bennie Glover, Solomon James Thomas Glover (Tee); sister Georgia Nell Glover; and a sister-in-law Vivian Glover. 

Her precious memories are cherished by her daughter Deborah Jeanette Jackson of Norwalk, California and son Sir Edward Woods (Cecelia) of College Park, Georgia; one sister Maxine Harvey of Jacksonville, Florida, a brother George Glover Jr., Americus, Georgia, aunt, Catherine Jackson, Jersey City, New Jersey; two devoted sisters-in-law, Helen Hawkins Glover, Americus, Georgia, Jean Glover Newark, New Jersey; grandchildren including a devoted granddaughter, Santosha Jackson (Robert Gamez) Norwalk, California, Siwand Herring, Edward Bryant, Carrie Bryant, and Lakeisha Richard; great grandchildren, Cristain Gamez, Jayden Gamez Norwalk, California, Jazmyn Reyes, SY'Yannah, Si'Aisia Herring, a host of other of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, Larry E. Adams (who was like a son to her) Northern, Alabama, two devoted cousins, Laverne Hobbs, Ida Mae Lampkin, friends Dorothy Jackson, Joel Hill, Loronza Lohlan, Anthony Corbett, George Lloyd, and Church of Christ Family, and a host of cousins.

​Addie Pearl Kleckley, age 84, passed on July 6, 2020 in Jamaica Queens, New York.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Sunday, July 19, 2020 in the Oglethorpe City Cemetery, Memorial Drive, Oglethorpe, Georgia.

Addie Pearl Kleckley was born in Macon County, Georgia on August 30, 1935 to the late Elizabeth Rogers Kleckley and the late Dudley Kleckley. She was preceded in death by one son, Gregory Jolly, and two brothers, Howard Dudley Kleckley and Buster Kleckley.

She was educated through the public school system of Macon County. Addie later moved to Jamaica Queens, New York where she served as a Eastern Star and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Addie worked as a repair services attendant with Nynex phone company in New York faithfully until she retired.

She leaves to cherish her memories four children Beverly Jean-Jacques (Georges), Tampa, Florida, Jeffery Jolly (Shirley), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Stanley Gregory, Queens, New York, Sidney Ellis (Cheryl), Oglethorpe, Georgia; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Maggie Kleckley, other family, and friends.

​Alice Marie Hartage, age 47, passed on Friday, July 3 2020, at Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 11, 2020 at James C. McCarter Memorial Cemetery, 2286 Pineville Rd, Buena Vista, Georgia.

Alice was born in Buena Vista, Georgia on January 3, 1974 to Hattie Marie Hartage and Charlie D.  Johnson.  She was educated in the public school system of Marion County and a 1993 graduate of Tri County High School.  Alice accepted the Lord as personal Savior and joined Nazarene C.O.G.I.C.  She was currently working as a home health care aide.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted companion, Jesse Ashe, Buena Vista, Georgia; three children Miranda M. Hartage (Kendall Williams), Lextoria  Ashe, all of Buena Vista, Georgia,  Kadarrius Hartage (fiancée, Raven Russell); three grandchildren, Kenvarvian Williams, Kentrell Williams and Karter Williams; siblings, Christopher Hartage, Buena Vista, Georgia,  Cassandra Williams,  (Karrell), Yolanda Dyson (Alex), all of Preston, Georgia,  Charles Johnson, Plains, Georgia, Raford Thompson (Robin), North Carolina, Breyonna Bozeman (Mike), Albany, Georgia; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, including a devoted cousin and friend Deanna Crawford, a devoted step-father Rayford Thompson, and devoted friends, The Neal family and The Coots Quarter family.
