The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Eastview Church of Christ in Americus, Georgia, 701 Eastview Drive, Americus, Georgia. The interment will be at the Staley Memorial Gardens, corner of Southern Field Road and Mayo Street, Americus, Georgia.

Hamp "HB" Barner has been called from labor to rest. He was born October 7, 1955, to the late T.J. Barner Sr. and the late Ophelia Barner in Macon County Georgia. He attended the public schools of Lamson Richardson Elementary and Macon County High School.

Our little princess Amber Rose Mathis was too adorable for this world, God and his angel wanted her more, so he came down to gather her up in his wings on April 30, 2026.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. John Stewart Boone, Sr., 84, of Schley County.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery located at County Road 124, Buena Vista, Georgia. In the event of inclement weather, his life will be celebrated on the inside of the sanctuary of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. A repast will follow in the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Annex.

Mr. Boone leaves to cherish his memories his loving children and bonus children: Mr. Mark Boone; Drs. Cathy (James) Dothard, Mr. Darryl (Kellie) Hunter; Mr. Horace Givens, Jr. and Cherylanne Hunter. two sisters: Ms. Julia Boyington and Ms. Ozelle Robak; a brother in law, Mr. Willie (Fannie) Hunter; four sisters-in-law, Mrs. Mary (Bishop Alphonso) Walker, Mrs. Minnie (Deacon Joseph) Burrows, Dr. Reather (Minister Charles) Waller, and Mrs. Rosa Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and loved ones.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Meadows Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, located at 607 Kaigler Street, Oglethorpe Georgia.
