Mrs. Diane Holt Laster, age 51, 165 Sweet Water Drive, Buena Vista, Georgia passed Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her home.
 
Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Rd., Buena Vista, Georgia.  Rev. Coley Clark, Jr. will officiate.
 
Please be mindful that we will adhere to all government recommendations and mandates at all services at this time. We are limiting graveside seating to no more than 10 with masks being strongly encouraged. Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.

Graveside services are likely to be held on ground that is uneven, which is out of the control of Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel, Inc. Mrs. Diane Holt Laster was born December 21, 1969 in Buena Vista, Marion County, Georgia to Curtis Holt, Sr. and the late Emma Lou Holt. She was educated in the public school system of Taylor County.
 
She was employed with Baby Dream Furniture Company for a number of years before retiring as her health began to decline. She was a full-time homemaker.
 
On Sunday January 17, 2021 Diane made her transition from this life to eternal life in the surrounding of her beloved family.  She will be deeply missed.  We take comfort in knowing that out of love and compassion, God sent his angel  of mercy to the bedside of Diane and whispered soft and clear, “Peace Be To Thee.”  We find solace in knowing that she joins other family members in eternal rest.  Her life, love, laughter and legacy will forever be cherished by her beloved husband, Mark Anthony Laster, her father, Curtis Holt, Sr., a daughter, Shenekquill Holt (Jamaine); three sons, Hercheal Holt, Sr. (Elisha), Hershey Holt, Jr.and Ronnie Holt all of Buena Vista, Georgia; a step son, Marcus Laster of Virginia Beach, Virginia;  two step daughters, Brittany Laster, Brandi Muff (Kristen) of Americus, Georgia; twenty one (21) grandchildren; two brothers, Curtis Holt, Jr. and Christopher Holt; a sister Velma Holt all of Buena Vista, Georgia; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, January 22, 2021 at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Whitewater Road, Ideal, Georgia.

Kenneth Lee Collins was born November 26, 1970 in Fort Valley, Georgia to Betty Ann Collins Hillman (Larry) and Jimmie  Ogburn. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County.   He was employed over the years with Tyson, Weyerhaeuser, and Enterforce.  He had a love for cars; he enjoyed working on them.  He also enjoyed sports, listening to all types of music,  and spending time with family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife Howanda Felton Collins; seven children, Kenyatta Collins, Damario Jackson, Kenterrica Jackson, Jamecia Smith, Kentarius Felton, Ken’wan Felton, and Kenadie Collins; eight grandchildren; parents, Betty Ann and Larry Hillman and Jimmie Ogburn; siblings Dallas Collins, Cynthia Nelson, Kimberly Hill (Kenyea), Julian Ogburn, Nicole Ogburn,  and Tracey Newton (Trevious); aunt and uncles Homer Collins Jr. (Gwendolyn), AC Collins, Joann Bellamy, Willie Morris Collins, Lora Collins, Savannah Johnson (Neal), Katie Rene Smith, Fannie Bailey, Norris Turner (Carolyn), Willie James Ogburn, Damon Turner; father-in-law, Howard Felton Sr.; sisters-in-law, Kimberly Walker (Kerry Williamson), Jennifer Felton, Shanita Felton Turner, and Felecia Felton (Lamar Robinson); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends including special cousins April Collins and Gabrielle Collins.

Millard Beal was born August 10, 1944 in Montezuma, Macon County, Georgia to the late Dorothy Hall Beal and the late Willie Arthur Beal Sr. He was preceded in death by one son Marvin Schofield, siblings Willie Arthur Beal Jr., Helen Hubbert, Dorothy Beal Loman, and Henry Robert Beal. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County.   At an early age he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and joined the band of Christian Believers at St. Paul A.M.E. Church. His passion was trucking and he worked faithfully for 40 years as a truck driver with Pine Timber Trucking in Oglethorpe, Georgia and J&M Tank Trucking in Americus, Georgia. He was joined in holy matrimony to Jannie Mae Schofield.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 58 years Jannie M. Beal, Montezuma, Georgia; children Tammie R. Beal Montezuma, Georgia, Terrell (Sandra) Beal, Warner Robins, Georgia, Erica (Mario) Mitchell, Montezuma, Georgia, Terica (Marcus) Beal, Warner Robins, Georgia, and Etherine Manuel, Valerie West whom he reared as his own; grandchildren Lamario Schofield, Jamarcus Thomas, Arielle Taylor, Cornelius Thomas, Jr., Terrell Beal, Jr., Tahj Morrell, Andrevier Beal, Armenderiz Harvell, Jr., Keilyn Harris, Kelveion Harris, Kymani Mitchell, Kymori Mitchell, Heaven Mitchell, Arsenio Watkins, and Lystashia Watkins; 10 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers Annie Beal Smith Montezuma, Georgia, Obie Beal, Africa, Thomas (Cynthia) Beal, Warner Robins, Georgia, Raymond Beal, Montezuma, Georgia, Beverly Harper, Vienna, Georgia, Harriett Brown, Montezuma, Georgia, Willie Sanders Vienna, Georgia, Earnestine Chatfield, Montezuma, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Levenie Perkins, Montezuma, Georgia, Minnie L. Evelyn Keesee, age 61, Landover, Maryland, passed Thursday, December 31, 2020. 

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Dooling, Georgia. The Reverend Jerry Sanders, pastor will officiate.

Evelyn Frederick Keesee was born February 10, 1959 in Dooly County, GA. She was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Fredrick of Dooling, GA. She was educated in the public school system of Dooly County and a proud honor graduate of the Class of 1977 of Vienna High School. She was a graduate of Alabama State University with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Business Management. She also earned her Masters Degree in Accounting from Fort Valley State University.

She was employed with CSC as a accountant and senior analyst. After years of dedicated service she retired to take care her husband. While also being a faithful member of New Chapel Baptist Church in Campsprings, Maryland. She was Co-President of the usher board. Evelyn also lead devotion for the Youth Department. 

​Evelyn was united in holy matrimony to the late Kenneth Keesee and to this union they was blessed with two children Patricia Keesee and Xavier Keesee, both of Clinton, MD also one step son Christopher Keesee of Tampa, FL.

She leaves behind her devoted children Patricia, Xavier, and Christopher Keesee. A loving mother Mary Frederick of Dooling, GA. Her sisters & brothers Marie Sanders(Willie), Frank Frazier(Melister) of Dooling, GA, Jessie Laidler(Antonio) of Vienna, GA. Ellis Fredrick(Sonja) of Loganville, GA. Sister-in-law Sharon Smallwood(Micheal), brother-in-law Ervin Keese of Washington D.C. Aunts and uncles Carvis Lewis Frazier of Montezuma,GA. Paulene Adams of Macon, GA. Bernice Adams of Vienna, GA. Eula Frazier of Miami, FL. Along with extended family, nieces, and nephews and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Champ Waters Cemetery, 191 Twin Church Road, Montezuma, Georgia.

Dorothy Lee Westberry Kendrick was born in Cordele, Georgia to the late Carl Lee Westberry and the late Amanda Ballard Young on April 20, 1945. She was preceded in death by her son, Anqulitus Kendrick, and siblings, Ivory Tucker, Charlie Riley, Willie Frank Riley, James Westberry, Carl Westberry, and Mcary McClendon. She a 1963 graduate of George Washington Carver High, Miami, Florida. She confessed Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and became a member of Brown Chapel under the leadership of Pastor Bobby Brown.

While living in the Atlanta, Georgia she was employed with Rich’s Warehouse as a Merchandise Receiver and at Own Illinois as a Line Technician.

Dorothy was joined in holy matrimony to the late Jesse Kendrick Jr. in 1970 and to this union two sons were born.

She is survived by a son Jesse Kendrick III (Crystal), Oglethorpe, Georgia; four grandchildren, Gabriele Bethune, Jessica Kendrick, Zaccheus Kendrick, and Ladasia Luckey; a goddaughter, Kendra Mathis; a brother, James Riley (Zona), Montezuma, Georgia; god siblings Carolyn, Doris, Clara, Mary Ann, and Betty Jean; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including a devoted friend Lena Johnson.

Clara Mae Warren was born in Taylor County, Georgia the twenty fourth day of October 1928 to the late Mr. L. B. Wells and Mrs. Mary Magalene Wells. She was educated the public school system of Macon County. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and joined the Corinth Baptist Church of Garden Valley. 
 
Clara was a lovely person in spirit and charm and assumed a quiet disposition in her journey and she left many loving memories to her beloved children and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Warren and one daughter, Clara Jean Warren.
 
She left a legacy of many fond memories to her beloved children on Saturday January 2, 2021 while a patient at the Georgia Hospice Center of Perry, Georgia.

Survivors include seven children and their spouses, Roy Neal Warren (Sheila), Ideal, Georgia, Mary Helen Warren, Butler, Georgia, Ann Perryman (Philip), Atlanta, Georgia, Henderson Warren (Brenda), Montezuma, Georgia, Allison Warren (Aretha), Oglethorpe, Georgia, Jeanette Warren, Ideal, Georgia and Yvonne Hall (Charlie), Fort Valley, Georgia; eighteen grandchildren, Teresa Thomas, Rhonda Stinson, Demetrius Warren, Andra Walker, Janmichael Walker, Jacolby Warren, Marquelle Warren, Jarquelle Warren, Cordero Ellis, Sheena Ellis, Diocleutia Lumpkin, Cornelious Warren, Christopher Warren, Shirley Hinton, Nakita Lockett, Dominique Lumpkin, Quan Warren and Shalanda Riley; and a host of beloved great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
