
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at New Hope Baptist Church, Georgia Highway 26 East, Montezuma, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.
Mrs. White was born August 12, 1938 in Montezuma, Macon County, Georgia to the late A.C. White and Annie Freeman White. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Mary Ola Bound and Carolyn Lewis. He was educated in the public school system of Macon County, where he was a graduate of Flint River Farms High School. At an early age, he joined New Hope Baptist Church. For several years, he was employed with the Montezuma Ford Company, under the management of Jackie Kiff, as a mechanic. After several years of road construction, he retired after his health began to decline.
He was united in holy matrimony to the former Willie Bell Ladd, and, to this union, three children were born. One daughter, Debra White Quinn, and one granddaughter, Shanika Walker, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Bell Ladd White, Miami, Florida; children, Albert White, Jr., Pamela Fippio (Angelo), all of Miami, Florida, Trent Smith (Sheuronda), Atlanta, Georgia, Randy White, Oglethorpe, Georgia, Consandra Turner, Orlando, Florida, Larry Ogburne, NeQueva Harp (Charles), Nicole White, all of Montezuma, Georgia, Calandra Walker, Perry, Georgia, Reginald Collier, California, Jeffery White, Rochester, New York, Judy Woolfork, Montezuma, Georgia, and DeAngelo Hamilton, Warner Robins, Georgia; siblings, Norma Odom (Willie), Montezuma, Georgia and J.W. McKenzie, New Jersey; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Deacon Robert Ladd (Mildred), Montezuma, Georgia, Mattie Smith, Miami, Florida, Costell Ladd, Jr., Auburn, New York, and Willie Tom Flowers, Miami, Florida; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
